500 series mid-flow process pumps

The 500 series is Watson-Marlow's top-selling pump range for applications from biotechnology to food processing and from contact lens monomer dosing to water and waste treatment.

LoadSure element models use three sizes of elements in a choice of four materials, offering three maximum pressures. Industrial or sanitary connectors are available. Continuous tubing models use tubing in sizes from 0.5mm to 9.6mm internal diameter, in a choice of eight materials.

Featuring sprung stainless steel rollers for high accuracy and gentle pumping. Low rotational speeds and a large swept volume greatly increase tube life and system reliability.

520 options include:

  • 520 washdown cased pumps have IP66 protection for industrial and process applications
  • 520 cased pumps have IP31 ingress protection for clean process and scientific applications
  • Close-coupled pumps are fitted with industrial electrical or pneumatic drives with inverter or mechanical variator control options
  • 520Bp and 520BpN PROFIBUS cased pumps for direct connection to PROFIBUS DP networks. Available in IP31 and IP66 options.

  1. REL LoadSure low-pressure pumphead

    REL LoadSure low-pressure pumphead

    520REL LoadSure tube element pumphead offers up to 2 bar (30 psi) pressure and flow rates up to 3,500 ml/min. 

    Elements are available in Bioprene TL, Pumpsil, GORE STA-PURE PCS and GORE STA-PURE PFL with quick-release industrial connectors or world-standard ¾in PVDF sanitary connectors.

  2. REM LoadSure medium-pressure pumphead

    REM LoadSure medium-pressure pumphead

    520REM LoadSure element pumphead offers up to 4 bar (60 psi) pressure and flow rates up to 1,500 ml/min.  

    Elements are available in Bioprene TM, GORE STA-PURE PCS and GORE STA-PURE PFL with quick-release industrial connectors or world-standard ¾in PVDF sanitary connectors.

  3. REH LoadSure high-pressure pumphead

    REH LoadSure high-pressure pumphead

    520REH LoadSure element pumphead offers up to 7 bar (100 psi) pressure and flow rates up to 1,500 ml/min. 

    Elements are available in Bioprene TH, Marprene TH and GORE STA-PURE PCS with quick-release industrial connectors or world-standard ¾in PVDF sanitary connectors.

  4. R2 continuous tubing pumphead

    R2 continuous tubing pumphead

    The 520R2 pumphead is designed for continuous tubing with a wall thickness of 2.4mm. It offers up to 2 bar (30 psi) pressure and flow rates from 0.25 ml/min to 4.6 litres/min. 

    2.4mm wall tubing is avalable in five materials for almost any chemical requirement, in tube sizes from 0.5mm to 9.6mm internal diameter.

  5. R continuous tubing pumphead

    R continuous tubing pumphead

    The 520R pumphead is designed for continuous tubing with a wall thickness of 1.6mm. It offers up to 2 bar (30 psi) pressure and flow rates from 0.25 ml/min to 3.0 litres/min.

    1.6mm wall tubing is available in eight materials for almost any chemical requirement, in tube sizes from 0.5mm to 8.0mm internal diameter.
