Peristaltic process pumps for food and beverage

  • Maintaining product appearance and consistency with low shear pumping and no moving parts in the fluid path

  • Maintaining quality and protecting product integrity by reducing the risk and time for batch/product changeover at every stage of manufacture

  • Providing flow accuracy, ensuring process stability, cGMP compliance and final product quality

  • Unrivalled accuracy with simple-to use HMI requiring minimal key presses to reduce chances of costly errors

The versatile Watson-Marlow range of process pumps offers four drive options, enabling users to choose from straightforward manual operation to fully automated control, including the ability to link up to 16 pumps and provide real-time communication. The pumps deliver flow rates from 0.0001 ml/min to 33 litre/minute.

530, 630 and 730 pumps can be fitted with either continuous tubing pumpheads, or with tube element pumpheads for pressures up to 7 bar (100psi) from 530 pumps, 4 bar (60psi) from 630 pumps and 2 bar (30psi) in the 730 range.

Dosing and metering of colourings, flavourings and additives must be inherently flexible and integration of control systems is often required without any compromise to quality.

Superior tubing

The comprehensive range of Watson-Marlow tubing meets a variety of needs in food and beverage applications, including chemical compatibility together with good process stability.
Compliance to FDA21CFR177.XXXX is available on all food and beverage tubing with EC 1935/2004 on selected materials within the range.

Error-free tube loading

Depending on a user's process needs, the 530, 630 and 730 models can feature LoadSure tube elements, which fit into position for simple error-free tube loading. The tube element can be changed in less than one minute without the need for special skills.
