Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG) will present highlights from its broad range of peristaltic pumps and associated fluid path technologies at the new UK Chemical Industries Supply Chain Expo and Open Conference – CHEMUK on stand M1.
Qdos and Bredel to take centre stage
Offering precise chemical metering capability and no tools maintenance, Qdos chemical metering pumps are available in four size options with flow rates to 2,000ml/min. Pump functionality options include manual, contact, 4-20mA, fluid recovery, fault reporting and PROFIBUS control and diagnostics. Qdos pumps’ inbuilt fluid recovery system ensures operator safety and avoids chemical waste.
CHEMUK is the first exhibition to preview the new Qdos ReNu PU pumphead. This pumphead is being introduced specifically for use with aliphatic hydrocarbons at pressures up to 4bar, making it ideal for dosing oil-based polymers in dewatering and coagulation duties.
Also on display will be our Bredel heavy duty hose pumps. Pumps transfer viscous and abrasive slurries and sludge with up to 80% solids in suspension and capacity is entirely independent of suction and discharge conditions. Pumps have only one wear part – the hose – which only takes around 30 minutes to replace (in-situ) and does not require the services of skilled personnel.
Only Bredel hose pumps have heavy duty rotor bearings within the pump rotor, and include an innovative buffer zone to protect gearing from contamination or abrasive wear in the event of a hose failure.
Technically advanced PTFE lined flexible hoses
Aflex manufacture the most technically advanced range of PTFE lined flexible hose products in the world, with flexibility and kink resistance that cannot be provided by other hose types. PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) has exceptional chemical resistance and can be used at temperatures from -73C to 260C.
WMFTG experts will be on hand to offer practical and technical advice alongside our range of pumps and tubing and high pressure PTFE lined hoses.
