The FMB210 range of fully automatic filling and capping machines is capable of working with many different liquids and fill volumes, and a range of containers.
Here we detail filling and screw capping of bottles with volumes from less than 0.2ml to more than 250ml. As with all Flexicon filling systems, the liquid only contacts a single use fluid path, so changeover from one liquid to another can be done quickly, without the risk of contamination.
The system is modular, very reliable, easy to use and can be customised. For example, the infeed can be a combination of a bottle unscrambler or a rotary table and a conveyor.
Capping torque is precisely controlled and monitored. This prevents leakage due to fluctuating air pressure in storage or transit.
Production costs are minimised, with a single operator managing up to 2200 screw cap bottles per hour ¬ feeding the machine with empty bottles and caps, and removing the final product from the outfeed.
A production run can be set up in less than 20 minutes, with changeover completed without assistance from outside the cleanroom area.
The total capacity of the FMB210 per working day is unique for this size of filling and capping solution.
