Cheese making with 500 series pump

Cheddar cheeseIn the manufacturing of cheese, various fluids have to be added to milk, in this application up to six different ones, also dose accuracy and purity must be very high. While the buildings and plant at this Finnish dairy were to be be renovated, the opportunity was taken to automate, including the dosing.

With Watson-Marlow's 520 range peristaltic pumps it has increased the reliability of the additions and released an operative from a time consuming operation.
